清乾隆58年(1793年)，中国中央政府首次在西藏铸行“乾隆宝藏”银币。道光(1821年-1850年)年间，台湾福建等地也曾仿制银圆，称为银饼。光绪16年(1890年)官方开始正式铸造银元“光绪元宝”(即龙洋)，各省纷起效尤。 [1] 民国时期建立银本位货币制度以后，也以银元作为主要流通币。银元是近代币收藏的重要币种之一。

3、墨西哥银元(从左往右第三枚)-墨西哥银圆，又叫做“墨银”或“鹰洋”，后讹为“英洋”。是指1821年墨西哥独立后使用的新铸币，它是从1823年开始铸造的。花边鹰洋面值为8瑞尔(Real)，直边鹰洋面值为1比索(Peso)。银元正面是一展翅雄鹰，嘴叼长蛇(花边鹰洋蛇尾与鹰翅相连，直边鹰洋蛇尾与鹰翅不相连)，单腿立在仙人掌(国花)上，边缘上方书西班牙文“REPUBLIKAMEXIKANA(墨西哥共和国)。背面中央为一顶自由软帽。帽檐书有西班牙文“LIBERTAD(自由)”字样。帽周围放射长短不一的光柱(花边鹰洋与直边鹰洋光柱数也不相同，花边鹰洋自由帽顶部的3支光柱中间一支较短，直边鹰洋中间一支较长。图案象征着力量、忠诚、和平和自由。

4、法国拿破仑三世大银币(第二排从左往右第一枚)-拿破仑三世(英语:Napoleon III，法语:Napoléon III)真名夏尔-路易-拿破仑·波拿巴(英语:Charles-Louis Napoleon Bonaparte，法语:Charles-Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte)(1808年4月20日——1873年1月9日)法兰西第二共和国总统及法兰西第二帝国皇帝。此钱币是1868年拿破仑三世晚年所铸造的，此钱币正面为拿破仑三世侧面像，背面则是拿破仑一世的王室印章，它外圈长袍上的金色蜜蜂是从希尔德里克一世(Childeric I，约457-481年在位)的陪葬品中抄来的。希尔德里克一世是墨洛温王朝能够确证存在的第一位国王。环绕盾徽的勋章则是法国荣誉军团勋章(l'ordre de la Légion d'honneur)。

5、英国维多利亚女王高冠一克朗银币(最后一枚)-英国维多利亚时代(1837-1901)曾发行过圣乔治马上斩妖图的银币。该币正面是维利亚女皇胸像，背面是大英雄圣乔治骑在马上持剑斩杀滚在地下的有翅膀的海妖，行内俗称它为“英国马剑银币“。该币币值1克朗，但按照英国惯例，在银币上未标明币值。它是19至20世纪英国所发行的最大币值的银币和主要品种。该币图案艺术性强，雕像和铸工精致，在国际上有知名度，也受到国内银币收藏爱好者的青睐。
